Negatives: it is likely payscale (min. wage) but the young staff at checkout is not customer-centric. They're chatting and goofing with each other and it's like they forget that there's a customer to deal with. I brought this up with management and they're aware it's an issue.
In fact, they're having difficulty with staff and it shows often with inventory shortages others have mentioned.
Very nice store very new. However the customer service Lacks. It is supposed to be a 24-hour store but by 8 at night the deli the bakery the self-service food area the salad bar the olive bar and the meat department are basically closed. There was one person working at the deli but I couldn't get her attention because she was too busy talking with a co-worker. I wouldn't recommend this store other than it is nice and new. Publix across the street is significantly better.
Staff is awesome though always happy and eager to assist biggest reason we keep going back!!
Watch expiration dates on products more than once we had to exchange items that were expired prior to us purchasing them.
Have to watch the produce for mold and being rotten we stopped buying most produce from here because of this.
I'm willing to keep shopping Krogers but it could be so much more with some proper attention, focus and results.
First, I really like Kroger for it's combination of selection, value and location. Second, the new store was a MAJOR improvement over the old, cramped one. Third, digital coupons and savings based on my buying preferences? Can't beat it!
Much like the other marketplace down the road, this store is huge and has a good selection. Some times it's too big and makes items hard to find. Deli is super slow service and never staffed enough. Fresh seafood is not really fresh and most is frozen right out of the bag from the freezer aisle. Has a cafe style section for sandwiches and tacos etc. clean store and well organized. Would love more craft beer and local beer selections.
Love the remodel, tons more selections. Love all the different prepared food options they now have available. Sushi is great! Now as long as they can keep up on there expired goods so they don't make it into my house I will continue to shop here)
