**update**
The self selection is a plus and the food preparation on the grill is good. The Hendersonville TN location is dumpy, however. Basic box with shabby interior. Could be better if cleaned, maintained, and with music for ambiance.
Edit: 12/19/17: I ordered from work again. It was not great. Burnt cookie wontons, nasty carbonation in the sprite for the raspberry basil limeade. It's safe to say if the new owner is not in sight, these kids obviously do not care what they give you. BEWARE ONLINE ORDERING!!!
What has happened to this place!? It used to be somewhat organized and friendly. Service was extremely slow, the staff was rude, and you had to pick craps from the meat and veggies. No bowls for the sauce, handiwipes, or numbers for the table. The manager was too busy talking instead of cooking the line of food that had collected on the counter. We have been here a hour and still waiting on our food. For the love of all Genghis Grill lovers, get it together!
I have not been here in quite a while. Used to love to eat here. My husband and I went in tonight and waited up front for 10 minites while the hostess walked by us several times and didn't even acknowledge us. She stopped at a table several times and was eating out of a customers bowl (I am assuming this is her friend). Very unprofessional. They did look short handed but if she had enough time to stop and talk to a friend and even eat some of his food then she had time to say "We are waiting on a table and someone will be right with you".
I posted a 2 star rating a few days ago based on service. But I got a call from the new GM and she offered to make it up to my family and she did. We really enjoyed the food, and the dessert wontons were very good (although I think they maybe brought us the wrong ones. They were still really good!)
Definitely gone down hill since my last visit. The table we were told to sit at was so dirty my menu stuck to the table. Service was relatively slow, considering that we were only one of three tables in the entire restaurant. When I received my bowl to fill up, I noticed that it was dirty. I mainly wanted to write this review because we are all feeling sick, and this is the only place we ate at today. I have concerns about the meat quality and how long it was left on the bar. It could have also been undercooked. I hope improvements are made because my family and I used to love this restaurant.
We look forward to eating here again. Even though my 2 boys can be a headache
