I feel like these guys care about the work they do. I found them to be honest and communicative with labor rates being average and reasonable. They order quality parts, so they can be a little more expensive than generics from somewhere else, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend.
Randy's Auto Repair did an excellent job on my FJ Cruiser. I am not from here and was skeptical on who I could call to have an oil change and brake job. I ended up needing some work on my LR axle due to some extensive leaking. They called me and were very personable and legitimately concerned for my well being and safety. I was in a bind and needed the work done by Friday and they stayed late and got the job done. I will be recommending their services to my family. Great, hardworking, honest people who care about you and your vehicle.
Carl is a very nice and honest mechanic! His knowledge on the hybrid system is one of the best outside of a dealership! I recommend going here if you have a hybrid or any other type of vehicle.
My first visit ever to this shop did not start out well.
I took my Crown Victoria to them for the usual intake manifold replacement these cars need at about 100,000 miles. It turned into the shop having my car for about a month. Someone got water in my engine, started it, and bent a rod. They replaced my engine with one with far fewer miles. I had to go back several times because the intake manifolds they were installing were faulty. They put 3 or 4 intakes on my car and finally one worked. That's Dorman's fault for being inconsistent with their QA. My power steering pump also failed while in their shop. I nearly missed my vacation. Carl replaced that, too, free of charge. In the end, Carl had paid for my vacation expenses because I had to take a different car that wasn't ready, got me a nicer engine than I had before, let me drive his drag car, "Granny," and took full responsibility for everything that went wrong. The old Crown Vic is running better than ever. Despite everything that happened, I must admit that these guys are great people.
