and one otherimportant thing I almost forgot to mention --- this is supposedly a family healthcare practise but they DO NOT GIVE FLU SHOTS THERE! Seriously, a basic flu shot cant be gotten there and they sugggest you go to Kroger for one. Just seems so wrong to me.
3 major issues with this place. #1 is that u can go round and round with their automated phone system and NEVER get a live person to talk to, then if u leave a msg and they call back they leave a msg telling you to call them back -- then u are back in the cycle of not being able to reach a live person. Actually had to go in person to make my appointment when a phone call should have worked. #2 their PA, Grant, is SO disorganized. Saw him for a refills on 2 meds and a prescription for a 3rd. Im disabeled and have a hard time getting around and he assured me all 3 meds would be called in right then so i could pick them all up at once. as it turned out they faxed in the prescriptions one at a time and made it to where I had to go to krogers 3 days in a row to get my needed medicines. I guess they think its funny, but when u have difficulty just standing and getting around is difficult, having to make unnecessary trips is uncalled for. and #3 the front desk lady there is super rude and never ever cracks a smile and has a tendancy to stare at people who are waiting to be taken back to see the doctor. makes one feel unwelcome an not so comfortable.
I have been going here for a couple years-
3)They send out multiple bills spanning a 3-4 months. They turn you into collections without your knowledge, because they assume that everyone logs into their website portal on a regular basis, to see if you owe money.
After Casee Sasser left it became the worse Ofc.. ever. Don't go. They don't answer the phone and they screw your payments up. Right hand don't know what the left hand is doing.
Very kind and understanding. I love my doctor Angela.
They claim to take walk in appointments according to their answering machine, then you get there and they say " oh it shouldn't have said that ". When you leave a message on the answering machine, they never call back, so dont bother. Completely unprofessional, rude, confused staff. Called to change my pcp immediately. Stay away if you want to stay well!!!
4)Some of them are rude and feel entitled that patients should be going there. There are too many other places to go, that won't have the attitude.
2)The first time I went, I went through the whole "new patient" screening and got tested for diabetes. It came back confirmed. After going through my medicine (@2 months) they wanted to retest my blood + doctor visit. They wouldn't refill it without a doctor visit. They wouldn't let me come just get my blood drawn. So I bought a book and did some OTC and Herbal medicines, increased workout. It helped quite a bit. @Six months later, I went back for something else (doctor visit) and while I was there had them draw blood to see if I was still diabetic. They couldn't find diabetes in my record and asked who diagnosed me. I said "You guys did".
1)I called them for three days before running out of my antibiotics prescription because I was still have symptoms. After that I gave up on them. They finally called me back two weeks later and wanted to schedule another Doctor visit.
