My mother was taken from Portland's TriStar emergency clinic to the Medical center on Saturday for Gallbladder surgery. I haven't had an experience with this facility before, but left there with nothing but positive feelings about it. They were really good to my Momma and she left the hospital feeling much better. Thank you!!

I visited the ER 7/22/2017 due to car accident I was involved in. When we arrived, I checked in a let them know why I was needing medical attention. We were in a room in minutes. I explained to the medical staff my injuries and pain due to the car accident and the doctor took note of my complaints and ordered the necessary tests he saw fit fairly quickly, the only complaint I could possibly have was the overall wait time; but keep in mind it is an ER. After all my results were back then Dr.Harrison (very nice man) came in and gave the prognosis and his advice for treatment. So I was given 2 injections with 3 prescriptions and sent home. By the time I got home we realized I was have an allergic reaction to the medicine. So my fiance called the ER and we were told to come back. As soon as we got there they sprang into action to take of me. The staff was very professional and caring. Like I said earlier, my only complaint was being at the hospital for a total of 7 hours. Otherwise I will recommend this facility to my family and friends. I would also like to recognize the nurses and other medical staff whom took care of me as well; Jerry, Anna, Selina, and Wyatt. Thank you.

Terrible customer service. Had to take my husband to the ER while out of town evacuating from Irma. The medical staff was nice and jumped on treating my husband and they deserve a kudos for sure, Dr. Harrison was great and they put him on a fast track for care BUT the guy checking in at the ER was rude, I was trying help check my husband in as he was in extreme level 10 pain and the guy told me in an annoyed way that I could not be at the check in counter with him, what?! He was having a hard time standing and I could not help give them any of his information!? The intake coordinator did not put our apartment number down and I gave it to them at check out because I saw she had it missing and I KNOW they have it because we got a physician portion bill statement for Dr. Harrison for the visit WITH the apartment number on it but when we called regarding the rest of the bill they magically did not have it saying they had sent us bills a month ago and a DENIAL for financial assistance and we have not received one darn thing in the mail. We applied for financial assistance and were told we would receive a phone call from someone in their financial assistance department, no one called us or sent any notification, they denied assistance and my husband is uninsured with cancer and somehow in our home state based on Federal Poverty guidelines were approved for 100% charity here but not even one dollar at this place even though they said they use Federal Poverty guidelines?! We are super grateful for the wonderful help we have received at our home hospital with a scary cancer diagnosis, EXTREMELY disappointed with the lack of care and compassion from the customer service staff and billing staff with this facility. No follow through and no help when desperately needed on one income and barely scrapping by but somehow we are supposed to pay a bill that is half of our yearly income right now. Sure, no problem. I even asked Catrisse (sp?)I believe her name was in billing, what do we do then? Can we do a payment plan? She just says they will send us the bill and the letter stating why we were denied any assistance. I asked if I could speak to someone in their assistance department and she said no that she would send them a note that I am "disputing" their decision but they do not have an appeals. Okay, thank you?? Confusing, frustrating and would never come back here if we had to.

Baby brought in presenting 104° fever. ER checked ears, took x-ray, sent child home with Tylenol and Motrin. Parents took baby to pediatrician next day, visual observation of throat reinforced need for culture swab which was bloody residue and tested positive for strep. ER FAILED to even test to rule out. But I bet full charges will be billed.

This place is a joke! My daughter-in-law has had a scheduled induction date for today for weeks. She arrived early this morning only to find out that they dont have a delivery room for her. She was told that it would be after lunch before something will be ready. We have all taken off work to be there with her. So not only is it an inconvenience for her having to be up so early, it is also and inconvenience for us because now we possibly have to either take another day off or miss the birth. They really need to get their act together and when they have appts booked they need to be a priority. The women that have already given birth should have been moved out of the labor and delivery room to make room for the women that are coming in to give birth.
