I have been shopping with David McKenzie since 1995. I have never been disappointed with the quality of diamonds or the care I receive there. I bought a beautiful Christmas clock there one year, something I could not find anywhere else. I went in one year on Christmas eve and got a fantastic deal on 2 beautiful Seiko watches for men. I looked up the phone number tonight because I have my list of what I need from the store this year. You will be happy with selection, lots of nice stuff.
About 4 years ago I left my wedding ring with these folks to repair the posts. They were not done well when I went to pick them up. I actually spoke with David McKenzie himself and he totally discounted my concerns. He was more concerned about leaving as it was almost closing time. I actually went to another jeweler and paid them to repair the posts because I just didn't want to deal with David McKenzie ever again. Plus, at that point, I did not trust him with my wedding ring or any jewelry for that matter. He is rude , arrogant, and will not correct service work that is poorly done. I can't caution you enough to not go to these people.
Never disappointed with the service I receive here. You can go to either the Gallatin or Hendersonville location and no matter what, they are very kind and friendly. They treat you like family an go the extra mile in customer service! Thank you again for my beautiful ring and I love all the fantastic compliments I get on it!
There is a huge remodel going on in the area where this store is located. I get that remodeling is stressful for a business but there is not need to be rude to potential customers. If your establishment is open for business then you better not treat your customer as if they are bothering you or an inconvenience. I went into this store , spoke with Mr. McKenzie directly about setting a stone. He told me the person who would do the work was not in, come back in two weeks and then proceeded to walk away from me with his back turned. I attempted to engage him in friendly conversation and he was very disinterested in any type of conversation. I had to ask him for the person's name and number. After sighing heavily, he grabbed a piece of paper (not a business card) and wrote her name down. No, I did not go back and yes Hancock's in Goodlettsville was the recipient of my business and money
