The receptionist was very short and rude . I could hardly walk because I was in so much pain,I was having to slide my right leg because I couldn't lift it. They never offered a wheelchair , they had me walk to get my weight because the nurse didn't believe me when I told her my weight and then walk to have x ray. I was told by the Dr that the x Ray was fine . I was in server pain for 2 weeks when my Dr ordered a MRI that showed I had 2 fractures in my pelvic. I was told not to be walking on my leg,i was on a walker for 5 weeks I asked the orthopaedic Dr that I was sent to after the MRI if you could see the fractures in the xrays that was done at this office and Dr and he said yes. They will never know just how much pain I was in , unable to get into bed I had to sleep in a chair for weeks. I pray they would receive better care than I received if they ever was crying for help.
The first appointment took a long time to get in. But, the Nurse apologized imensley. The Dr came right in and was very cordial. He spoke in my language ( where I understood what he was talking about) and was very concerned with my problem.
Wonder if the receptionist the other reviewer talked to was the same woman I got on the phone. I would not be surprised at all. I've never gotten so much attitude from a doctor's office! Good lord all I was doing was returning a call about an appointment. No one WANTS to have to call an orthopedic doctor's office, you know. They have to because they're in pain and they're trying to find out why and get help. Oh well, usually if just trying to schedule is a major pain and the office is rude just trying to coordinate that then that's usually a red flag. Time to look for a doctor elsewhere.
This office has the best doctors and the most friendly staff. Highly recommend them for all your ortho needs. Dr. Burval is the best spine specialist in Tennessee!
