I saw Dr. Montague for a couple of years. I found her through my insurance portal and chose her because of her excellent reviews. I enjoyed my experience with her because she didn't rush through appointments and seemed to listen to me. The staff always seemed, for lack of a better word, pissy, which I overlooked it because I liked the doctor. I am not sure what happened, but I had an awful experience there my last visit. I thought that the problem was with the office, but some of it was caused by the doctor. The doctor did not ask me if I wanted certain tests done, and she ordered them. I got a bill from the lab for 3 times the amount I expected and agreed to. When the lab told me that I have to take that up with the office, I had to make repeated calls because they would not return them, they deceived me into paying them a reduced amount for the tests that I didn't need or agree to, lied to me by saying that the tests were required by law when they are not, the office manager had the audacity to tell me that my calling was excessive when she didn't return my voice mails for a week, and then I received a letter in the mail to tell me that they "cared about my experience" at their office but were firing me as a patient. Every bit of how they handled that situation was unprofessional. It is unfortunate. I waited to write this review because I didn't want it to be written out of bitterness. Sometimes telling the truth to help others isn't the most pleasant thing to hear.
Jennifer Montague is awesome! She is friendly, thorough and tops in her field.
Never had a problem with the front staff as well.
The Staff and Dr. Montegue ROCK!!!!!!!!! My first experience with a primary Dr. after moving back to TN, was HORRIBLE!!! That is being kind. After such awful treatment from the Doc I saw, not too far from Reliance Medical (across the street), My older sister referred me to Dr. Jennifer Montegue. It's going on 6 yrs. now and I wouldn't change for NUTTIN!!!!! Everyone there is kind, helpful and exemplify caring patient care.
I have been seeing Dr. Ikard for years and love her. She listens with kindness, never makes me feel stupid over silly questions and is very patient. She has one of the sweetest souls I have met. Her nurse, Lanie, is just as fabulous. Tamara the NP is just as sweet and kind as them. We saw her at a different dr office and was glad to see she joined Reliance!
