As a lifelong musician, I have always wanted my daughters to truly fall in love with music. But I also want their creativity to be sparked, which doesn't always happen with traditional music instruction. That is why I have been THRILLED to find Cedarstone School of Music, which truly empowers students to be creative. My daughter takes vocal lessons with Michelle Bailey, who is an amazing instructor and encourager, and we are about to add guitar lessons for my daughter as well. She looks forward to her lesson each week, and I see improvements in her musical ability, confidence, performance ability and more each and every week. We have been at Cederstone School of Music for several years. We have always had a great learning experience with all of the teachers that we have had. They listen to their students and teach to the students learning ability, it may not always be text book teaching which is great. I could not imagine going anywhere else. They push their students to reach their potential and go further than they thought they could. I love how they pour into the students and challenge them each week.
The rewards for learning to play an instrument are priceless. The process stimulates mental and physical awareness, encourages discipline and creativity, and instills a sense of accomplishment. But these gifts only occur in an environment that enables and fosters fundamentals, exploration, musical and personal growth, and the pure joy of learning to play music. Kevin Lawson, and all of the instructors at Cedarstone School of Music, are gifted teachers, accomplished musicians, and down-home great folks. They listen, cajole, inspire, encourage, guide, and care for each and every one of their students. I have been nurtured and blessed at Cedarstone a multitude of times and offer my highest recommendation to others who are looking for a place to play, grow, and reach your musical potential.

Great place for music lessons. They have instructors for all types of instruments or vocal lessons. They are great working with children of all ages (as young as 3)!
