Good tex-Mexican style food. Friendly service. Normal prices for area.
We love Casa Vieja. For a Tex Mex, it is great and the service is excellent. We love the entire staff. I grew up on Southwest food from New Mexico and while it isn't as good as NM food, it is good and consistent. I don't know of a harder working staff. I suggest you go early instead of waiting until they are slammed after 6 pm and then complaining about the service.
5:30pm is a great time to eat there. Was not crowded. Nice patio seating that can be cllsed in and still gives a nice view. Food is great and reasonably price. Service was top notch. Margaritas were really good. Very nice atmosphere for dinner.
It's hard to find good Mexican in Tennessee (my palette enjoys Texas style Tex/Mex). Unlike most "Mexican" restaurants in TN, this place at least has some flavor in their food.
The best mexican food in town with the best staff! My family and I go here all of the time and we love it! Food always tastes great, amazing and speedy service, and they remember their regulars! Great margaritas and cheese dip, too!
